Air duct cleaning in Costa del Este, Panama
Costa del Este was built in stages from 1995, with separate zones for offices, retail and housing. Here is what is checked first in each one and who it is coordinated with.
Duct cleaning in Costa del Este is the camera inspection and cleaning of the inside of the air conditioning ducts of office parks, shops, schools and homes in this planned development. It is coordinated with each building’s management or with the residents’ association, as the case may be, and cleaning is done only where the camera justifies it.
Costa del Este, a planned development on the bay
Costa del Este is a development located in the corregimiento of Juan Díaz, which had 56,583 residents in the 2023 Census. According to La Prensa, work began in 1995 and the master plan was drawn up in 1996, with high- and low-density residential areas, office, retail and storage zones, a central boulevard and residents’ associations that pay for the upkeep of common areas.
Because it has been built since 1995, its buildings are more recent than those of neighborhoods such as Bella Vista or San Francisco, and their systems have fewer years of use. That does not shield them from Panama’s constant humidity: the camera shows the real condition before deciding whether cleaning is needed, and in many cases the answer is that it is not needed yet.

| Shopping centers and local retail | The central system of the corridors and, separately, each shop’s own equipment, outside public opening hours. |
| Private schools | Classrooms and common rooms during breaks, with the equipment checked block by block. |
| High- and low-density homes | In houses, each family’s own equipment, and in apartment towers the common areas, depending on who contracts. |
How the work is coordinated in Costa del Este
- Two kinds of contact. In offices and shops the contact is the building’s management. In residential zones it is worth asking whether the residents’ association runs the streets and common areas, because entry may depend on it.
- Offices and retail, outside business hours. Office parks are worked in night or weekend slots, and shops when they are closed, so the work does not mix with the public.
- Schools during breaks. Schools are scheduled during vacations or weekends, by classroom block, with administrative staff as the contact and one report per block at the end.

Frequently asked questions
Do you clean ducts in Costa del Este?
Yes. Costa del Este is served, and the camera inspection and cleaning are provided by Limpieza de Ductos Panamá, a Climatiza service. Schedule and access are agreed with the building’s management or with the person responsible for each property.
Do the newer buildings in Costa del Este need duct cleaning?
It depends on use and condition, not on age. A new system may be in good shape, and the camera confirms it. Cleaning is done only if accumulated dust, moisture or construction debris shows up inside the ducts.
Can it be coordinated with a residents’ association?
Yes. For houses and residential towers the work is done with the management or the association that represents the owners. It approves entry, the schedule and the way neighbors are notified.
Can only part of a building be inspected?
Yes. In an office park a single floor or branch can be inspected without touching the rest, and the report says whether it is worth extending. The decision to extend is made by the management, with the images in hand.
