Short answer

Duct cleaning in Calle 50 is the camera inspection and interior cleaning of the air conditioning ducts of the corporate, banking, hotel and restaurant buildings lined up along this avenue. It is coordinated building by building with each management office, taking care of street access and the hours of each use.

Calle 50, an avenue where four uses share the same sidewalk

Calle 50 is the name commonly used for avenida Nicanor de Obarrio, an axis of about 1.7 kilometers between avenida Federico Boyd and vía Brasil. According to the tender documents the city hall published in January 2026, it now combines corporate, banking, hotel and restaurant buildings, and it is served by 13 MiBus routes.

A bank, a hotel and a restaurant can sit a few meters apart and still run on very different hours, air loads and access routes. On top of that, according to the press, the current sidewalks barely exceed one meter in some places, so it is worth agreeing with each building where the equipment enters and where the vehicle waits.

How the work is coordinated in Calle 50

  1. Each building has its own contact. On an avenue where towers, banks, hotels and restaurants share the street there is no single counterpart. The contact of each management office is requested and the work window is agreed separately.
  2. The entry of the equipment is planned. With narrow sidewalks in some stretches and several public transport routes on the avenue, it is defined in advance where the vehicle parks and which entrance the equipment goes through.
  3. Each use has its own hour. Offices are worked on at night or on weekends, restaurants before opening and hotels in blocks of rooms. Each building receives its own report with photos of what was reviewed.
